TCS is not liable for any errors or omissions resulting from any data or email communications. TCS does not confirm the accuracy or completeness of any resume submitted to an employer. By purchasing any services, you are requesting and authorizing The Career Sprint to make your resume and application materials available to any employer we believe is suited to your qualifications and experience.
The Career Sprint does not guarantee that any employer will receive, access, read, or respond to any resume or application material, or that there will be no mistakes in the transmission of data. 4. Your content
You are solely responsible for the information, opinions, messages, comments, photos, videos, graphics, sounds, and other content or material that you submit, upload, post, or otherwise make available on or through the website and/or services ("Client Content").
You may not upload or post any material protected by copyright, trademark, or any other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner. The burden of determining whether any material is protected is on you. You are solely liable for any damage resulting from infringement of copyrights, trademarks, proprietary rights, contracts, privacy, or publicity rights, or any other harm resulting from Client Content you provide.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated here or in our Privacy Policy, you agree that any Client Content submitted in connection with your use of the site and/or services is provided on a non-proprietary and non-confidential basis. You hereby grant to The Career Sprint a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, worldwide license (including the right to sublicense) to use, reproduce, process, adapt, publicly perform, publicly display, modify, prepare compilations and derivative works of, publish, transmit, and distribute your Client Content, or any portion of it, in any form, medium, or distribution method now known or later developed.
TCS may modify or adapt your Client Content in order to transmit, display, or distribute it over computer networks and in various media. You agree to pay all royalties, fees, damages, and any other monies owed to any person by reason of any Client Content posted by you.
5. Intellectual property
The website and services, and all materials contained or transferred through them — including software, images, text, graphics, illustrations, logos, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music, and Client Content — and all intellectual property rights related to them, are the exclusive property of The Career Sprint and its licensors.
Except as explicitly provided here, nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such intellectual property rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from any materials or content accessible on the website.
"The Career Sprint" is a trademark used to uniquely identify our website, business, and service. You agree not to use this trademark anywhere without our prior written consent. You also agree not to use our trade dress or copy the look and feel of our website or its design without our prior written consent.
6. DMCA notice
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA") provides recourse for copyright owners who believe that material appearing on the internet infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law. If you believe in good faith that materials hosted by The Career Sprint infringe on your copyright, you (or your agent) may send us a notice requesting that the material be removed or access to it blocked.
The notice must include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)(A): a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right; identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it; the name, address, telephone number, and email address (if available) of the complaining party; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, under penalty of perjury, and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
If you believe in good faith that a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, the DMCA permits you to send us a counter-notice. Notices and counter-notices must meet the then-current statutory requirements imposed by the DMCA.
Notices and counter-notices should be sent in writing to The Career Sprint Copyright Notice, 3753 W Turner Rd., Lodi, CA 95242, or by email to blake@thecareersprint.com. Be aware that there are penalties for false claims under the DMCA.

8. Third-party links and services
This website may contain links to third-party websites, advertisers, services, or other events or activities not owned or controlled by The Career Sprint. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party sites, information, materials, products, or services.
If you access a third-party website or use a third-party service, you do so at your own risk, and you understand that this Agreement and our Privacy Policy do not apply to your use of those third-party sites or services. You expressly release The Career Sprint from any liability arising from your use of any third-party website, service, or content.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Your use of this website and/or our services is at your own risk. The Career Sprint does not guarantee any results through your use of this service. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from The Career Sprint, its subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates, or through the platform or collective content, will create any warranty not expressly made here.
The Career Sprint makes no express, implied, or statutory representations, warranties, or guarantees in connection with the site, the services, or any materials — including as to the quality, suitability, truth, accuracy, or completeness of any information or material on the site, any client content, and any third-party content.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and our services, and any information contained or presented on the site, are provided on an "as is," "as available," and "where is" basis without warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights. The Career Sprint does not provide any warranties against viruses, spyware, or malware that may be installed on your computer, and does not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party services, offers, or products.
10. Limitation of liability
The Career Sprint is a service that helps people apply for jobs and solicit interviews. We are not involved in the actual hiring process and have no control over hiring decisions. We have no control over content submitted by clients — including resumes and personal information — and no control over the quality, safety, or legality of jobs applied to or resumes submitted on behalf of clients.
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the accuracy, form, and substance of any client-generated content. You further acknowledge that The Career Sprint shall not be responsible for your career decisions.
The Career Sprint shall not be liable to you for any damages resulting from any information or advice given to you by any employees, agents, officers, owners, directors, shareholders, or affiliates of The Career Sprint. The Career Sprint shall not be liable for any damages resulting from your use of any materials generated by The Career Sprint.
In no event shall The Career Sprint be liable to you for any indirect, extraordinary, exemplary, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, revenue, profits, use, or other economic advantage) however arising, even if The Career Sprint knows there is a possibility of such damage.
The Career Sprint's maximum total, aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the site and any materials or services provided through it, regardless of the cause of action (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty, or otherwise), will in no event exceed the total amount you have paid to The Career Sprint.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Career Sprint and its principals, shareholders, agents, officers, directors, consultants, subsidiaries, licensors, and employees from any and all claims, damages, obligations, payments, deficiencies, fines, judgments, settlements, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to: (i) any third-party claim, suit, action, or proceeding arising out of the breach of The Career Sprint's representations and warranties contained here; (ii) your use of and access to any of The Career Sprint's services, including any data or content transmitted or received by you; (iii) your violation of any term of this Agreement; or (iv) your violation of any third-party right, including any rights of privacy or intellectual property.
12. Governing law
This Agreement and any disputes shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of California, without regard to its choice-of-law or conflict-of-laws provisions. Any disputes relating to this Agreement will be heard in the courts located in the County of San Joaquin, State of California.
13. General
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect. TCS's failure to enforce any term of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such term or otherwise affect TCS's ability to enforce that term in the future.
This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and TCS and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous negotiations, discussions, or agreements between you and TCS about the site. The proprietary rights, disclaimer of warranties, representations made by you, indemnities, limitations of liability, and general provisions shall survive any termination of this Agreement.
14. Changes
TCS may make changes to the content and features of the site and the services at any time, with or without notice to you. TCS can change or update this Agreement at any time by posting an updated Terms of Use on thecareersprint.com.
If we make a material modification to this Agreement or the Privacy Policy, we will notify you by sending an email to the address you provided, or by displaying an announcement on the website for thirty (30) days, after which the notice will be removed. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the website and services immediately; no refund will be given.
15. Notices
The Career Sprint may provide notifications — whether required by law or for marketing or business purposes — by email notice, written or hard-copy notice, or through a conspicuous posting on our website, as determined by us in our sole discretion. TCS reserves the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications.
TCS is not responsible for any automatic filtering you or your network provider may apply to email notifications we send to the email address you provide.
Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, California clients receive the following consumer-rights notice: The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
16. Data retention
Your data, in plain English.
- We keep your resume profiles and uploaded files for 24 months after your last sign-in. If you've been away that long and come back, we'll ask before touching anything — or you can just export and walk away.
- Deleting your account starts a 30-day grace period. Your data is frozen, you get an email, and one click during that window reverses it. After 30 days, everything is permanently removed.
- Before deletion, you can export every profile as a
.json and every uploaded file as its original .pdf / .docx / .txt. One click, all of it.
- We do not sell or share your data. We use it to do the sprint for you, and that's it.
